Move a Little, Heal a Lot 🌀
Hey Friends,
Audrey here! Today let’s talk about moving—move that body and move that lymph!
Fun fact: Your lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump—it depends on you to get things moving. Every step, stretch, sway, or shimmy helps your body naturally detox. ✨
Movement is one of the most powerful ways to support lymphatic flow. It helps reduce inflammation, flush out toxins, and boost circulation. It also works wonders for your mental clarity and emotional well-being.
And here’s the good news—it doesn’t have to be intense to be effective. A few simple ideas to get things flowing:
✔️ Gentle walks or stretching
✔️ Chair yoga or seated movement
✔️ Rebounding on a mini trampoline
✔️ Swaying side to side with deep breathing
✔️ Light chores or gardening
Living in Ohio, we all know the weather doesn’t always make movement easy. That’s where tools like a vibration plate come in. These platforms deliver whole-body vibration, which stimulates lymphatic flow, improves circulation, and can be used on their own or added to your current routine. Many assisted lymphatic therapists (ALT practitioners) use them regularly to stay balanced between sessions.
Whether you’re walking the neighborhood or standing on a vibration plate while brushing your teeth, intentional movement makes a big difference. Your lymph system—and your mind—will thank you for it.
With flow and gratitude,
Audrey & the Rest and Restore Team
